The next Linux-SIG meeting is March 19, 2012 at 7 pm.

 

 

TBCS FOSS SIG meets on the last Thursday of each month in the TBCS Resource Center.

July agenda features Joomla

This graphic is in honor of Joomla which has been downloaded more than ten-million times. Joomla is an open source content management package to which many components, plug ins and tools may be added. The web result can be most impressive but may be intimidating to GUI web designers.

In July we're installing the current 1.5.12 version of Joomla inside the localhost server we built in June. Then we'll configure a new unique website using a few Joomla tools. This is an ambitious agenda but we will all learn.

We meet in the TBCS Resource Center on July 30th from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.
